My Experience

College

During my time in college, I got to do a bunch of cool things here are a few of my personal highlights

Michigan Fashion Summit

Gathering at the Michigan Fashion Media Summit was a transformative experience, immersing attendees in a whirlwind of insights, connections, and inspiration. Throughout the day, industry luminaries took the stage, including the iconic Steve Madden of Steve Madden and the visionary Jennifer Fisher of Jennifer Fisher Jewelry. Alongside them, speakers such as Chris Appleton, Lauryn Bosstick, Michael Bosstick, Marcus Collins, Blake Corum, Paige DeSorbo, Danielle and Alix, Lisa Greenwald, Rachel Liebenthal, Jonathan Newhouse, Ken Pilot, Peiman Raf, Kristine Westerby, and Jared Wangler shared their expertise and passion for fashion, media, and entrepreneurship. Their collective wisdom illuminated the path forward, sparking conversations that ranged from trend forecasting to brand building, from digital innovation to sustainable practices. Amidst collaborative panel discussions, skill-building workshops, and exclusive networking events, the summit culminated in the Fashion Forward Showcase, celebrating emerging student designers from across the nation. As I reflect on this remarkable event, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to learn from and connect with such esteemed leaders, leaving with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for the future of fashion media.

P&G Executive Dinner

I recently participated in a riveting case competition representing Olay, where the task at hand was to revamp the brand's image to resonate with Gen Z consumers. Combining my keen design sensibilities with a deep understanding of marketing strategies and adept profit estimation skills, I developed a comprehensive and innovative rebranding strategy. This strategy not only clinched the first-place victory but also earned me accolades in the form of a coveted gift basket and an exclusive dinner with top-level executives. Beyond the accolades, this triumph opened doors to invaluable networking opportunities, reaffirming my passion for marketing and strategic branding while showcasing the power of interdisciplinary expertise in driving impactful business solutions.

Internships

Having interned at Johnsonville and Bemis, I've gained valuable insights into two distinct industries. At Johnsonville, I learned about food production, marketing, and quality control, while at Bemis, I focused on packaging design, materials testing, and sustainability. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and valuable industry connections.

Summerfest Ambassador

As a Summerfest ambassador for Johnsonville, I had the fantastic opportunity to oversee the Top Your Brat contest and distribute samples of a new sausage product, directly engaging with consumers to create positive Johnsonville experiences.

Managing the Top Your Brat contest was a thrilling experience, as I got to witness the excitement of attendees and showcase Johnsonville's products in a fun and interactive way. It was rewarding to see people enjoy themselves while also promoting the brand.

Handing out samples of the new sausage product allowed me to interact with consumers one-on-one, gaining firsthand feedback and insights into their preferences. These interactions not only promoted Johnsonville's products but also helped me understand consumer behavior better.

Overall, being a Summerfest ambassador provided me with invaluable experiences in consumer engagement and brand promotion, contributing to Johnsonville's success while enhancing my skills in marketing and customer relations.
